Introduction to Web Design
A 6-Week Online Course VIA ZOOM.
Beginning April 13th through May 20th
Tuesday and Thursday Nights From 6 to 7 PM EST.
This Camp is geared towards students in grades 6-12.
Who this course is for?
This course is intended for anyone who is interested in designing websites.
This is an introductory course that will familiarize you with the tools need to design and set up WordPress websites.
Learning these skills will hopefully give you a head start.
If you want to learn what is WordPress how it works, how it is connected to a server and databases then this course is for you.
If you already know WordPress very well then, no need to do this course.
Participants will join in via Zoom and learn
Set up a Web server on your computer
Learn some basic HTML/CSS Code
Create a basic HTML web page
The Differences between HTML Web Sites and WordPress
Download and install WordPress
Create a database
Connect WordPress to the database
Create a 4-page WordPress Web Site
